Physical Characteristics of South Korea
Hallasan Mountain is located in the center of Jeju Island. It is also Mt. Yeongjusan which translate into "mountain high enough to pull the galaxy". There are approximately 368 parasitics volcanos surrounding the mountain. The mountain is relatively easy to hike compared to other mountains. Bijindo Island is often compared to a barbell because a small strip of land that connects two lands together. The island is located off of Tongyeong, which makes it a great place to enjoy the scenery.

This a physical feature that is known as the largest limestone cave in South Korea. It is called Hwanseongul Cave in Samcheok, South Korea.

Seongsan Ilchulong, known as sunrise peak. Sunrise peak is a tuff cone crater that was formed when a volcano erupted under the ocean. Beware to climbers who attempt to climb the peak, it is has a very steep incline.

Cheonjiyeon waterfall is located on the southern part of Jeju Island. Cheonjiyeon translated means "the pond where heaven and earth meet". It is roughly 40 feet tall where the water plunges approximately 65 feet deep.

Bomun Pavilion was once the capital of the Shilla Dynasty. The tranquil area is the perfect place to view the cherry blossoms flutter over the water during the spring.

A great sight for romantics to visit because it's also known as the "romance bridge". Making this a romanic bridge, cherry blossom bloom here, creating a beautiful river bed full of cherry blossoms.

This bridge was to make mountain hiking easy by connecting Imgeum Rock and Ipseokdae together. It is also famous for the beautiful vibrant autumn leaves during the Fall.

A pavilion that holds a famous folk tale where a Korean Geisha and the son of the local governor first met and fell in love. One of Korea's treasure, believed to be built in 1894.
